We completed the installation of the dark oak flooring in our dining room and kitchen and it looks beautiful just as we had planned. Your visit with us on September 23 gave us the confidence to proceed with the "do-it-yourself" project and the results are very satisfying. We followed your instructions from opening the cartons 3 days prior to installing through to using a nail as a drill bit. In particular your advice on bard selection and joint placement was a critical contribution to the great appearance achieved.
Your advice has been compiled into a 12 step approach that we followed carefully through-out the project and is now being passed onto our son who is installing over 500 sq.ft. of your hardwood in his newly completed home also as a DIY project (with help from Dad!).

We purchased the Bruce hardwood flooring in February with Vandana's help but unfortunately we were not able to attend the flooring seminar.
